A Look At The Multi Level Marketing (Or MLM) Organization. What Everyone Should Know About It Before Joining

November 24th, 2009 Nypoleon Knight No comments

There is a new kid on the block when it comes to distributing a company’s products and services in the name of multi level marketing. This goes on to replace the system of indirect sales that has so many middlemen and ending up at the retail store. Through the use of independent distributors companies develop a win win situation by having their products leave the shelves while giving distributors a chance to make big money for themselves.

That way, the amount of money that would have been swallowed by the long and tedious traditional system is shared by teams of distributors, which gives them a motivation to go out and sell more of the products and services from the company. As a distributor in a multi level marketing arrangement you have two basic assignments which are both related and important to each other. The first and major one is of course to distribute the products from the company to as many people as possible.

Distributors who sell the said products and services are compensated through a direct payment that they retain as retail profit which can be termed as active income. After they manage to recruit people to join their ranks and distributors as well, they also receive indirect income which is a percentage of the sales made by their downlines a swell. So when you are in this multi level marketing business, there is always a tam of uplines who have a good reason to ensure that you actually succeed.

Every effort that you put down on multi level marketing gets to be recognized and rewarded whether it is your direct efforts or indirect efforts from the team you are already building. There is always motivation for everyone and from everyone to do well because their success is yours as well.

Many multi level marketing companies also offer a lot of other bonuses that are based on performance and the end result is that hey end up selling bigger volumes of their products or services. It may appear that women may actually find it easier to do multi level marketing because of their natural networking and relationship skills.

Basically those who get to advance their people skills. Ideally people recommend products they themselves have consumed and seen the advantages. Once you can share a good thing with a friend or a relative then you can actually do multi level marketing. Things are not going to be the same in business much longer and you had better get a share of the goodies yourself.

How to Get a Successful Online Business

May 24th, 2009 admin No comments

I read articles daily that state “It’s easy to make money online.” This is true but how do you decide which business opportunity is genuine and right for you?

When I first started looking for an opportunity this year, I signed up for all sorts of money making ideas, all promising me the world! I lost a truckload of money-what a surprise! These opportunities suddenly disappeared from the face of the Net-I fell for the get rich overnight trick!

What did I learn?

Don’t pay for an opportunity without doing some research first. Type the business name into Google and see if there are any reports. If there are more good than bad, you decide. Of course some people sign up to a genuine business, don’t put in the work needed and moan because they haven’t made thousands overnight.

Certain names of people or businesses crop up constantly. If you Google these names and do some research you can follow their progress.

Most will offer free eBooks or newsletters, much of which contain valuable hints and tips on running your own home based business which in themselves are worth reading. Of course further down the line you will be offered some sort of opportunity, that’s how people make their living. By this time you will probably have decided whether the person is genuine and whether the opportunity is for you. If not you can unsubscribe-no harm done to your pocket!

That’s how I found my business, starting off with a newsletter. Just remember it’s down to you-don’t pay if you’re not sure. A genuine online business owner will be happy to answer questions-if you are successful so are they.

What’s my conclusion?

Find a business you feel confident with and run by someone who is offering you a good solid start in running your own online business. You shouldn’t be paying over the odds either-there are plenty of genuine opportunities that don’t cost the earth. The rest is down to you my friends!

Remember, you won’t earn your fortune overnight and you will have to learn how to advertise effectively, research keywords, how to get traffic to your website, all as cheaply as possible! But these are topics I will cover in future articles!

Fitness Internet Marketing Drives Forward and Upwards

May 15th, 2009 admin No comments

In recent months the world banking system has virtually collapsed. With little money available for lending, the world economy has gone into serious decline. However, despite the gloom and doom, some markets continue to survive and even grow. The health and fitness market is one such market and its survival and success are reliant on fitness internet marketing.

Fitness internet market is the tool that the industry uses to promote its wares. People still want to remain fit and healthy, and though they may have less money in their pockets, they still demand what they see as their rights fitness-wise. In order to achieve their desire they look for alternative ways of maintaining their fitness at less cost.

The internet is the route of choice that most people will take today when they are searching for something; in this instance a route to cheaper fitness; and this is one of the main reasons that fitness internet marketing is thriving.

The health and fitness industry is split into many different areas, and one area that continues to excel is the health and fitness supplement market.

People have become much more health conscious. This is partly to do with the obesity crisis that faces many countries (not just America) today. Obesity is a major contributor to heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and other serious illnesses and diseases, many of which can be life threatening. It is a symptom of our modern lifestyle, the foods we eat, and the amount of alcohol that we consume. It has become such a global problem that many governments are now taking an active lead in trying to reverse the trend. The number one route for advertising is television, but that is now being hotly contested by the internet. We are seeing more and more web based advertising to draw our attention to the obesity crisis. Fitness internet market plays a major role in this ambition.

The majority of businesses selling health and fitness supplements, do so over the internet. To get maximum market penetration, to get their message through to as many people as possible, they employ something called search engine optimization, or SEO for short. It is a very efficient method of advertising products and services worldwide over the internet. Its aim is to direct anyone searching for products, services, or information, to the appropriate websites. Its purpose is to satisfy the needs of those searching for products, services or information, and also to satisfy the companies who have products and services to sell or information to impart.

SEO works on the basis of something called keywords. Keywords, or key phrases, are words that are associated with other particular words or phrases that people use when they are searching the internet. The purpose behind search engine optimization is to direct people to the appropriate websites that deploy the same keywords in their product/ service descriptions that the searchers have used in the browser search windows.

You will start to see fitness internet marketing owes much of its continued success to the SEO industry. Kickbacklife.com is a great resource for fitness copywriting.

Small Business Leadership Lessons Learned in the Mud

April 27th, 2009 admin No comments

In October 1066 AD, the Duke of Normandy, William I, was about to lay claim to England on the field of battle against King Harold.

As William led his men ashore in southeast England, on their way to what was to become the historic Battle of Hastings, legend has is that this man-who-would-be-king rather ignominiously stumbled and fell, face-first into the mud. One of the classic truths about leaders, including once and future kings and small business owners, is that stumbling is virtually ordained, whether the untimely descent is a mistake we’ve brought upon ourselves, or an unfortunate circumstance that could happen to anyone.

Consequently, the question is not if we will stumble but how we behave after the fall, with mud on our hands. One of my mentors used to say that our character is not measured by the challenges we face or the mistakes we make, but rather how we respond to them.

Back to our Norman invader. With his next action, the future king of England demonstrated how leaders often have to think fast in order to snatch victory form potential disaster: Looking up from the mud, seeing “Bad Omen” written all over the faces of his superstitious men, William stood up, displayed his muddied hands, and cried, “By the splendor of God, I have taken possession of my realm; the earth of England is in my two hands.”

So, when you look up from the mud, how do you behave?

Of course, you could complain about how deep the mud is, which might sound like, “How can I grow my business in such a bad economy?”

Or you could make excuses about how the mud caused you to fall, “I don’t know which is going to cause me to go out of business first, the Big Box competitors or people buying stuff on the Internet.”

And then there’s the always-handy option of blaming others for the mud. “Yes, ma’am, I know you bought it from us. But that’s a manufacturer’s defect. You’ll have to send it back to them.”

At least one thing that hasn’t changed in a thousand years is that there are still plenty of people standing around – employees, customers, etc. – watching our behavior when we stumble. And like William’s soldiers, these latter-day witnesses are also vital to the success of our empires.

The Norman conquest at the Battle of Hastings arguably changed the course of history. Who knows what the world would look like today if our hero had become known as William The Whiner, instead of William The Conqueror?

So, when you fall face-down in the metaphorical mud of your battlefield, your future may well depend upon whether you can – as William the Conqueror did – stand up, assess the damage, accept the circumstances, claim the responsibility, remember on whom employees and customers depend, and then drive on to win the day.

One last thing: It also doesn’t hurt if, like William, you can think fast.

Write this on a rock… “Leaders don’t whine, complain or make excuses.”

Values of Email Marketing

April 15th, 2009 admin No comments

The value of the emails cannot be ascertained in monetary terms at any time. So it is always better on thinking about the fact whether the email that you have sent to the users delivers certain valuable message. Are you offering them something that they consider that is very much essential to their lives or like others you are also delivering them the same old message of buy, buy and buy. The best way in which you can deliver the finest result is to be empathetic, always formulate the mails keeping in mind what you would like to read in a mail rather than what would you like to write in the mails. In the real time scenario this is the essence of deliverability. When you are in a position to anticipate what the reader is expecting in a mail and you formulate the mail based on that strategy then it is sure that the mail would deliver the results that you are anticipating or expecting from your marketing efforts. However getting an insight of what the customers are expecting is not that easy, you need to know the customers really well. Further you need to also assess on the fact that you do not do anything that comes in the way of getting across the actual message and distract the actual worth of the message.

There are a number of factors for which the emails are considered as an effective tool for the marketing activities of the company. The latest report from the database marketing firm Merkle have revealed the following findings:

50% of the respondents have purchased something called as the permission email message and it has been up by 3percentage points from the previous year.

On the other hand 50 percent of the companies have revealed that the email marketing has brought about a change in their purchase decision.

However it has to be noticed that bad email practices can drive the customers away, this has been proven by the survey results wherein 32% of the respondents have agreed to the fact that the bad email practices have taken away their important customers from them.

There is a lot of discussion on the topics wherein people aim to improve their deliverability services by the usage of delivery options like the opt-in, managing your reputation, segmenting the lists, optimization and testing the content, but the major factor which is to be considered is that there has to be some kind of demonstrated value in each of the email.

There are some of the features that you need to have the access to like ensure that you have the home page as well as all the pages of the website have an invite to the visitors which clearly what would they receive in their mail box on subscription. Make them feel that they would gain benefits that are not given to the casual visitors to the site.
